WOW, WOW, WOW!!! I am a frustrated watercolourist, try as I might I cannot get the techniques that I want and I have had a lot of problems trying to find my "style". I think you have hit the spot. Thank you so much for sharing your techniques with us, I am blown away and can't wait to get ordered some supplies to get started with this exciting medium. One question if I can, what paper do you use for your paintings, I noticed that it seemed very thick and I guess it needs to be quite robust, I would love to hear if you are willing to share. i thought there was a right side and a wrong side to watercolor paper. wrong side has not texture. maybe that is just for cold pressed paper and since you use hot there is not such a difference?

I really love the fabric idea for texture. I had to order some from overseas, but it just arrived and it really works nicely.

Hopefully bu now you have tried to put some BRusho in a lil container with water like a normal watercolor so you can them brush it on

do you typically work with wet paint straight from the tube? i put mytubes into half pans and i wonder if i can get the same effects as you do.
